Training

Began piano studies at age six in Tijuana under Inessa Novikova (Moscow Conservatory), building a foundation in the Russian classical tradition. Earned his B.M. (2002) and M.M. (2009) in Piano Performance from the University of Arizona on full scholarship, studying with Prof. Zumbro,Dr. Fernandez, Prof. Gibson and Dr. Woods. In 2005, he participated in the International Piano Week in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium where he studied with Mmme. Anderson, Eugine Prionoff and Dr.Debora Nemko.

Performance

Over 25 years as a concert artist across Arizona and Mexico, appearing at the Festival Alfonso Ortiz Tirado, Festival Cultural Sinaloa,Festival International Universitario de la Cultura and the 3rd International Symposium for Latin American Music in Tucson. Orchestral credits include Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy, Op. 80. Solo programs have featured Spanish and Latin American repertoire — Granados, Albéniz, De Falla, Ginastera — alongside Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin. He has also served as accompanist for the Sinaloa State Opera Choir, the UA Wind Symphony, and the UA Dance Department.

Teaching

Full-time piano faculty at the Instituto Sinaloense de Cultura (2009–2023) and the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente (2010–2018), with additional courses in Music History, Psychology of Music, and Music Appreciation. Appointed Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona during his Master's. A trained piano technician — a rare complement to his performing and teaching credentials.
